Thank you for your interest in Michigantown Christian Church! This page will help you know what to expect when you visit either of our worship services.

Every Sunday we offer two worship services: a traditional service at 9:00 AM and a contemporary service at 11:00 AM. The music is different in each service: the traditional service is primarily hymns with piano and organ accompaniment while the contemporary service offers upbeat music played by a band and led by a worship team. As was the practice of the church during New Testament times, we partake of the Lord’s Supper (or Communion) every week during both services (all Christians are invited to participate). We also have a time of prayer and a message from the Bible during both services. During the contemporary service we offer a separate children's worship time for young people from age four through sixth grade, and we also provide a nursery for children younger than four. From 10:10 – 10:50 AM we offer Sunday School, an educational time with classes to meet most tastes and ages.

Please feel free to dress comfortably for either service. Generally, the dress is more casual in the contemporary service than the traditional. Contact us with your questions, and please visit with us soon!
