Listen up.  The most crucial battle you will fight in your efforts to live a meaningful, safe, and satisfying life won't be fought in the halls of your school, or at an after-prom party, or in a chat room, or in front of the TV..  The most important fight of them all will take place in the battlefield of your mind.

Proverbs 23:7 tells us, "For as (a person) thinks in his heart, so is he."  What does that mean?  Your attitude determines your actions.  Think of your body as a state-of-the-art computer; your mind is the hard drive.  It runs everything else.  If your hard drive gets corrupted (crashes) then it doesn't matter how high-def your monitor is, how loud your speakers are, or how fast your internet connection is.  If your hard drive is compromised, your computer is useless... and a monument to lost potential.

The longer I serve the Lord, the more I realize how important thoughts and words are.  Today, I want you to start winning the battle for your mind.  I want you to win BIG, so that you can help others win too.

Your first step to victory is truly understanding Proverbs 23:7.  Your life... your actions will ALWAYS be a direct result of your thoughts.  Negative mindset=negative life.

But if you renew your mind according to GOD'S plan for you, then you will have abundant life.  Period.

I am sure your life is difficult in some ways right now.  All teens suffer from stress.  Just DON'T GIVE UP... DON'T DESPAIR.

Keep hoping/keep striving to change your mind for the better.  Then you will see how your life changes for the better.  When you begin to see God's amazing plan for your life, you will want to follow it!
